AusCare Psychology

Telehealth PsychologistSupport from wherever you are in Victoria.

A telehealth psychologist gives you the same evidence-based care as an in-person session, from wherever you are. Getting to a clinic is not always easy, whether that is because of work, family, distance, health, or simply a preference for talking from your own space. Through secure video sessions you can see a registered psychologist from anywhere in Victoria, and many people find that opening up from the comfort of home actually makes the work feel easier.

How telehealth sessions work.

  1. 01

    Book and receive your link

We send you a secure link when you book.

  2. 02

    Join by video

At your appointment time you click the link and your psychologist meets you, just as they would in the consulting room.

  3. 03

    A simple backup

If the connection ever drops, we pick up by phone so your session is not lost.

What telehealth is well suited to.

All you need is a private space, a reliable internet connection, and a phone, tablet or computer.

  • Anxiety and stress
  • Depression and low mood
  • Ongoing counselling
  • Living outside Berwick, or travelling often
  • A busy schedule
  • Feeling more at ease at home

Funding your telehealth sessions.

The same funding options apply as for in-person care. A Mental Health Care Plan may make you eligible for Medicare rebates on telehealth psychology. NDIS support is available for participants whose plan includes psychology, and private appointments are available without a referral.
